Huntington Toughman Recap
The 25th Annual Tri-State Original Toughman Contest last weekend at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington WV,was a huge success. There was nearly 10,000 fans and 86 bouts with five champions crowned.Jerry Thomas and West Virginia Sports Promotions did a great job with this event, and was full of a lot of great fights. With names like the porn star and red neck romeo and five ring girls the crowd always had someone to cheer for. The only bad part of it all was the Pro bout where the  WV Cruiserweight Champion Bobby Thomas, Jr of Oak Hill, WV (11-1) was set to face Warren Browning, of Lenore, WV (17-2) the fight was going well and was a great fight until Browning hurt his elbow and was unable to continue giving Thomas the win.I really would have love to watch this fight play out it had all the makings of a great fight.Thomas advances to (12-1) and Browning falls to (17-3).A great weekend of fighting and if you missed this one you missed a good one so be sure to head out next time and check it out.
